Best Butcher – Rosario’s, 252 Park Street just across from American
Hardware! Amazing fresh mozzarella, prepared Italian dishes, and
fresh meats and sandwiches.
Best Deli – hotly contested but my kids’ vote is Watchung Deli at 117
Watchung Avenue. Close and delicious contenders are Nicolo’s (also a
bakery) at 6 Baldwin Street in Montclair and Belgiovine’s across from
Whole Foods at 714 Bloomfield Avenue. Fresh, fresh Italian
specialties and sandwiches.

Best Restaurants – too many to name! But be sure and try:
* Raymond’s at 28 Church Street for consistently excellent casual, comfort food
* Dai Kichi best sushi place at 608 Valley Road
*. Fascino – elegant, serious, delicious Italian food with the
DePersio family warmly welcoming. The chef is Ryan, his sweet mom,
Cynthia makes the most amazing desserts all served at 331 Bloomfield Ave.
*. DeNovo – 275 Bellevue Avenue in Upper Montclair. Located in the
Upper Montclair train station. Perfect for drinks and dinner after the
commute!
*. Brookside Thai – Located in Bloomfield at 380 Broad St, Bloomfield but
it is terrific, plus you can get take-out.
*. T.S. Ma – speaking of take out, the fastest delivery in town has
got to be this super fresh Chinese restaurant located at 199 Bellevue
Avenue.
There are SO many more phenomenal restaurants. Most are bring your
own wine…Lebanese, Peruvian, Ethiopian, Indian, Mexican, French,
Italian, Tapas, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, and more. Let me know
